Kristopher Pignone Obituary, LOWVILLE, N.Y. — Kristopher Pignone, 44, of the Lowville neighborhood, died Thursday following a motorcycle crash in the Town of Watson, per to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office.
Emergency personnel were called to Number Four Road at approximately 6:32 p.m. after the Lewis County 911 Communications Center received a report of a motorcycle crash. Responding agencies included the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office, New York State Police, Lewis County Search and Rescue, and Kafline’s.
According to the sheriff’s office, an investigation determined that Pignone was operating a 2023 Honda CRF300 motorcycle southwest along Number Four Road when the motorcycle entered the shoulder of the roadway. Pignone subsequently lost control of the motorcycle, resulting in the fatal crash.
Pignone was pronounced dead at the scene. His sudden death has brought grief to family members, friends, neighbors and others in the Lowville public who knew him.
At 44, Kristopher Pignone’s life was marked by years of experiences, relationships and memories shared with the people around him. Although his passing transpired suddenly, those who knew him will carry forward the memories and moments they shared with him.
